Claims Information

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE

At Southside Clinic, we offer our clients, with private health extras cover, the ability to have their rebate deducted directly from their fund via a HICAPS machine. This means you would only have to pay the ‘gap’. The amount that your fund gives you per visit differs between funds and levels of cover, so you would need to check with your own fund about how much they offer towards your consultation.

Medicare

A Medicare rebate is offered for part of the cost of treatment for patients on Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans. You need a referral from your GP to be eligible for this, and you may be entitled to up to 5 CDM treatments per year, partly covered by Medicare. You will need to pay the ‘gap’ remaining after your rebate.

Return To Work SA

Osteopaths and Physiotherapists are approved providers for Return To Work SA (previously WorkCoverSA). To be eligible to process your Return To Work SA claim at Southside Clinic, you will need approval from your case manager for care, as well as details of your case manager’s name and phone number plus your case number.

N.d.i.s.

We happy accept clients accessing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (N.D.I.S.). To be eligible to process your NDIS claim at Southside Clinic, you will need approval from your case manager for care, as well as details of your case manager’s name and phone number and your case number. For self managed N.D.I.S. patients we can provide the required reporting for compliance.

MOTOR ACCIDENT COMMISSION

Osteopaths and Physiotherapists are approved providers for the Motor Accident Commission. To be eligible to process your MAC claim at Southside Clinic, you will need approval from your case manager for care, as well as details of your case managers name and phone number and your case number.

Please note that not all types of health care, therapy and support services are covered by the CTP Insurance scheme. It is best to contact the approved insurer managing your claim and discuss your treatment requirements with your claims consultant before undertaking alternative treatments.
