Vivienne Jachmann

Physiotherapist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

B.Physio.

Vivienne is a highly qualified physiotherapist who is passionate about helping people optimise their health and get the most out of life. She appreciates the importance of looking at the whole body when treating, knowing the site of pain is rarely the only problem. After graduating as a physiotherapist in 2006 from the University of South Australia, she spent three years in the private hospital system, working in ante/postnatal care, rehabilitation, post surgical care, and ICU. She has since worked in private practice specialising in wholistic forms of treatment and women’s health.

Vivienne has undergone extensive training in craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, Mckenzie therapy, dry needling, and Muscle Energy Techniques (MET). She combines this with other physiotherapy hands on treatment techniques including trigger point therapy, soft-tissue release, joint mobilisation, posture assessment and exercise prescription.

Vivienne also has expansive knowledge in Clinical Pilates, Active Birthing techniques and has undergone training in Women’s Health physiotherapy for specialised pelvic floor assessment and management. She has undergone training with the Spinning Babies association to gain more knowledge on ways to promote optimal foetal positioning, reduced pelvic girdle pain and balancing out of pelvic and uterine ligaments.

Being a mum of two she has a special interest in treating women through out their pregnancy, and acute and long term postnatally. She appreciates the benefit of the range of techniques she has learnt, and how transformative they can be to the pregnancy and the birthing process
